The Barn at the End of the Slough

We discovered the Slough—technically, the Fobes-Ebey Slough Dike Road Trail—early in the pandemic, as part of our quest to find new ways to be outside.

As we came to know the Slough, we noticed this old barn near the end of the trail.

At first, the damaged panel spoke to us.

Then the panel was repaired--and it became a mirror of the day's light.

What color are those panels anyway?

Of course, there's more than one angle on the barn ...

And then, just the other day, this other barn caught my eye ...
